Welcome to the final week of the regular season! This is the last week of practice for junior stingrays as well as any swimmers who are not attending Divisionals or Straehle. Here’s what you need to know this week:

Divisionals - Please Read

Divisionals is our last meet of the season, on July 26 at West Howard (16131 Old Frederick Rd, Mt Airy, MD). We are asking all families who are interested and able to attend Divisionals to declare in Swimtopia by this Wednesday, July 15. If you know your swimmer cannot attend Divisionals, it would be very helpful if you declare “not attending” in Swimtopia. We are allowed to enter four swimmers in each event at Divisionals this year. The coaches will create the Divisionals lineup from those swimmers who declare “attending”. If you have questions about Divisionals, please reach out to me or Coach Owen.

Sign Up for the Lap-A-Thon!

The 2026 Stingrays Lap-A-Thon is in full swing – all we need now are participants and pledges! As an incentive each year, the three families who raise the most money in the Lap-A-Thon can use the reserved “fundraiser” parking spot at Swan Lake for two full weeks the following summer. Home vs. West Howard 7/18 – Declare Now

Our final dual meet is at home this week, on July 18 against West Howard. The deadline to declare if you plan to swim in this meet is Wednesday, July 15. Please log into Swimtopia as soon as possible to let us know if your swimmer plans to participate. I’m thrilled to say that almost all volunteer spots for this meet are already filled! However, we do need some early birds to help with meet setup on Saturday morning and to pick up concession items from Zeke’s and Fenwick bakery.

Fun Friday - Pajamas and Pancakes

Wear your pjs, bring a cozy blanket, and cuddle up on a lawn chair with some delicious pancakes! This is the last Fun Friday of the season. We will need contributions of juice, fruit, and toppings. Please sign up to contribute or help out via Swimtopia.

Practice Schedule 7/20-7/24

Please note the following practice schedule adjustments for the week of July 20 - 24:

• Tuesday through Friday Mornings

        > 8:00 - 9:00 11&over

        > 9:00 - 10:00 10&under

• Tuesday and Thursday Evenings

        > 6:30 - 7:30 - All Ages
