Launching the Lap-A-Thon!

It’s time to register for the 2026 Stingrays Lap-A-Thon! This is our biggest, and most exciting, fundraiser of the season. More details will follow in a future email, but if you already know what to do, you can register your participant and start collecting pledges now! Every year, the three families who raise the most money in the Lap-A-Thon get to use the reserved “fundraiser” parking spot at Swan Lake for two full weeks the following summer. This year, the Lap-A-Thon will be held on Sunday, July 26 at 5:00 pm.

Final Day for Zeke’s Orders

Today is the final day to order your Zeke’s Meet Day Roast through this Membersplash link! You can order whole bean, ground, decaf, or k cups (Hippie Roast). Orders should be ready to pick up at Swan Lake within a couple of weeks. The Stingrays receive $8 from every order. Thank you for supporting this fundraiser, and thank you Zeke’s!

Away vs. Summer Hill 7/11 – Time to Declare

Our next dual meet is Saturday, July 15 against Summer Hill (13709 ½ Harcum Road, Phoenix, MD 21131). We will warm up at 8:00, and the meet will start at 8:30. The deadline to declare if you plan to swim in this meet is Wednesday, July 8. Please log into Swimtopia as soon as possible to let us know if your swimmer plans to participate. After the meet, we will gather at Prigel Creamery in Glen Arm.

Fun Friday - Totally Rad 80s Day

Dress as you favorite 80's music superstar, big hair, or wear neon-- it's "totally" your choice.  We need donations of snacks as well as volunteers to help set up, hand out snacks, and clean up. Please sign up to bring snacks or help out via Swimtopia.

Save the Date - Awards Party Potluck and Lap-A-Thon

The Awards Party Potluck and Lap-A-Thon will be on Sunday, July 26. The Lap-A-Thon will start at 5:00 (check in at 4:45) and the potluck will immediately follow at 6:00. Please rsvp and sign up to contribute to the potluck so we can plan appropriately.
