Hello Swim Team Families,

Welcome to another week! I missed a couple of records in my post-meet email on Saturday. Congratulations to Callahan Kerner for setting a new record in 8&U girls 25 yard breaststroke and to Max Dillen for a new 6&U boys 25-yard backstroke record!

I have been working on compiling team records since last season, but I only have data going back to 2018, with the exception of Straehle Results (shout out to Coach Hannah, 8&U record holder from 2015!). If anyone has evidence of fast times from earlier seasons, please share. Record books for yards and meters are on the Stingrays website under the “Resources” tab, and I hope to get a proper record board soon.  If anyone is interested in building a record board, please reach out!

Zeke’s Coffee Fundraiser

I’m extending Zeke’s Meet Day Roast orders for a few extra days until July 5. Place your orders soon through this Membersplash link! You can order whole bean, ground, decaf, or k cups (Hippie Roast). Away vs. JCC 7/5 – Time to Declare

Our next dual meet is on SUNDAY, July 5 against JCC. We will warm up at 8:00, and the meet will start at 8:30. The deadline to declare if you plan to swim in this meet is Wednesday, July 1. Please log into Swimtopia as soon as possible to let us know if your swimmer plans to participate. After the meet, we will gather at Tropicool on Falls Road.

Fun Friday - Hat Day

Wear a hat, get a cookie! There will be a special prize for the most unique hat. We need donations of snacks as well as volunteers to help set up, hand out snacks, and clean up. Please sign up to bring snacks or help out via Swimtopia.

Mini Golf / Laser Tag Night – July 6

We are trying something new this year! Join your teammates for an evening of mini golf, laser tag, and pizza at Monster Mini Golf in Towson! We will have the party room from 5:30 - 7:30. The Stingrays will provide pizza, and we are requesting contributions of drinks, snacks, and dessert. The cost is $17 per player (pay at the door), which includes 1 round of Monster Mini Golf and 2 games of Laser Tag. Siblings are welcome. Please rsvp so we can plan appropriately for food.
