2025 Lap-A-Thon

The 2025 Lap-A-Thon is upon us, and it’s not too late to sign up! We are fundraising for a new lane line reel, a Team Records board, and more. The main event is this Sunday, 7/20, before the Awards Potluck, and you can continue to collect donations until 7/26. Here are the answers to your Lap-A-Thon FAQs.

Awards Party Potluck

Our Awards Party is on 7/20 at 6:00. Dinner will be potluck style, followed by awards and night swimming. We are asking for RSVPs this year so we know approximately how many families to expect. You can also sign up to bring a dish and help out with set up.

Sign Up for Final Home Meet 7/19

Our final dual meet is on July 19 at home against Bolton Hill. The deadline to declare is Wednesday, July 16. By now you all know how to declare if your swimmer plans to participate. Thank you for taking care of it!

Sign Up for Divisionals 7/26

The Divisionals Championship meet will be held on Saturday, July 26 at Bolton Hill Swim Club. We are allowed to enter 3 swimmers in each event. Before we can make the lineup for Divisionals, we need to know which swimmers are available. We are asking EVERYONE to declare for Divisionals by Wednesday, July 16. Even if you’re not sure if your swimmer will be included in the lineup, please log into Swimtopia and declare “Yes” if your swimmer would like to participate. Please declare “No” if your swimmer is not available.

Fun Friday - Pancake Pajama Jam

ISO National Anthem Performer

We love to showcase our multi-talented swimmers during the National Anthem! Let me know if your swimmer would like to perform at the home meet this weekend.

Share Your Photos!

Parent volunteer James Hamilton is taking some amazing photos of our swimmers in action this season! You can follow this link to see albums from our dual meets, including our recent meet against the Crofton Crocs. I also created a new shared folder for swim team families to share photos with each other. If you have some great photos from practice or meets, please upload them to this album to share! Just please make sure you have permission from all families in the photos. We will be playing a slideshow that includes your photos during the awards party.

Last Call for Zeke’s

In a few days I will place our final bulk order for the Zeke’s Stingrays Meet Day Roast. If you’ve been putting off ordering, now is your chance! You can order via Membersplash. Every order raises about $7 for the swim team!

Straehle Qualifiers

Straehle qualifiers received a separate email from me on July 8. This is a reminder to please declare in Swimtopia and tell Coach Owen which events your swimmer would like to swim. Also remember, the last day to pre-order Straehle t-shirts is July 16.
