Can you believe we are more than halfway through our dual meet season, and our Awards Party and Lap-A-Thon are only 2 weeks away?! In this update you’ll find the following:

2025 Lap-A-Thon

Donations are starting to roll in for the 2025 Lap-A-Thon! We are up to 12 participants and $345 raised. Ava W is currently in the lead with $150 raised! We have some fun prizes planned for participants, which are detailed on the Rally Up page. You can sign up by visiting the Participant Center. If you can’t remember how many laps your swimmer completed last year, you can find that information here.

Away Meet vs. Crofton Country Club 7/12 – Sign up now!

Our next meet is on July 12 against Crofton Country Club. The deadline to declare if you plan to swim in this meet is Wednesday, July 9. Please log into Swimtopia as soon as possible to let us know if your swimmer plans to participate. If you know your swimmer can’t participate, it would still be helpful if you can log in and declare “not participating.” We will need volunteer timers, table workers, clerks of course, and sharpie workers, so please sign up to volunteer if you can help out.

Fun Friday - Team Spirit Day

This Fun Friday is Team Spirit Day, so wear your blue and yellow and celebrate the Stingrays! We will follow the usual Fun Friday Schedule (8:00 - 11&up, 9:00 - 10&under, 9:15 - Junior Stingrays, 10:00 - Snacks and Games). You can sign up to bring snacks or help out via Swimtopia.

Awards Party 7/20

Please save the date for our Awards Party on Sunday, July 20, immediately following the Lap-A-Thon. As in previous years, we will enjoy a potluck dinner followed by awards. We’re also working on adding some new elements including a photo slideshow and night swimming! Stay tuned for more information, and please let me know if you’d like to help with planning and preparation.

Zeke’s Still Available

We still have 3 pounds of Zeke’s whole bean coffee available for immediate pickup, and we will place another bulk order on July 15 with grind options and decaf available. You can order via Membersplash. Every order raises about $7 for the swim team!
